Lyto’s and LCS have recently completed the construction of a self-supporting automated warehouse for company FINDER, based in Almese (TO), historical Company, that since 1954 has concentrated its commitment in the production of pulse and twilight relay for civil and industrial applications, components for automation, power auxiliaries, timers, power suppliers, switches and related accessories.

It is a warehouse for many aspects surprising:

  • the complexity of the automation system, that has led to a solution with 4 stacker cranes, of which 3 miniloads and 1 for pallet, with 2 levels of in/out;
  • the large storage capacity in a relatively modest space : in 43 m length, 21 m width and 22 m height, the great flexibility of the Lyto’s structural systems, allows to reach a capacity of 720 pallets and 11.520 boxes, result not reachable with structures of other competitors;
  • the coexistence of particularly complex air-conditioning and fire-fighting systems, which led to an extraordinary exploitation of all available spaces, without sacrificing storage capacity;
  • the technical and specially aesthetic characteristics of the warehouse cladding, which provided for an “inner skin” made of thick mineral wool panels, and an “outer skin”, extraordinary appreciable for an aesthetic point of view, made of a special perforated aluminum panels, reproducing an image of a wood.

Realization of this project, has been a priceless experience for Lyto’s, from a technical point of view, thanks to the solutions identified, both from the human one, thanks to the knowledge and collaboration that were established with FINDER managers and with the whole team involved.
